According to a press release from Esbjerg fB, the club has sold 22-year-old Danish centre-back Andreas Troelsen to a club described as an 'unnamed foreign club'. There was a release clause in the agreement, and both the player and his agent wanted to effect a club change abroad. Sports director Sebastian Brydegaard says that the club did everything possible to improve the terms of the agreement, but it was not possible. Troelsen, who has one cap for Denmark U19, has made 18 appearances in the 1.Division this season and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €650k.
