Allsvenskan club Brommapojkarna has bought Danish defender Andreas Troelsen from Esbjerg. Esbjerg had announced earlier on Sunday that they had sold the 22-year-old, who has been a significant player for them in recent seasons, to an unnamed club abroad. Sebastian Brydegaard, Esbjerg's sporting director, stated in a press release that a release clause existed in the agreement. He added that both the player and his agent had a clear desire to make a move abroad at this time, which the club had to accept. Brydegaard also said that during the process, they had done everything possible to improve the terms of the deal, but it was not an option. Troelsen joined Esbjerg in July 2022 and has one cap for Denmark's U19 team; he made 18 appearances in the 1.Division this season and has a current market value of €650k, according to Transfermarkt.
