OFI have reached an agreement on personal terms with Tasos Chatzigiovanis, a 29-year-old Greek attacking midfielder, and are close to completing his signing. The next step is for OFI to finalize a deal with his current club, Omonia of Nicosia, with whom he has a contract until the summer of 2027. The two clubs are now in discussions to complete the transfer. The effort to sign the player follows comments from OFI manager Christos Kontis, who had previously stated the team's need for another attacking midfielder as a reinforcement. Chatzigiovanis, who joined Omonia in July 2025, has 15 caps for Greece. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €750k.
