The Cretan club is attempting to sign the 28-year-old Greek winger for a return to Heraklion, and it is reported that the player has a positive view of a potential second tenure. Lamprou has previously played for OFI on loan from PAOK during the 2021/22 season, when he scored five goals in 31 appearances. He had a productive recent season with Volos, contributing seven goals and two assists in 32 league games.
