Sławomir Peszko, vice president for sports at Wieczysta Kraków, stated in an interview with Canal+ Sport that Amath Ndiaye will not join the club. This followed a suggestion from Mateusz Borek a few days prior that Ndiaye was near to joining for a potential transfer fee of 200 thousand euro. According to Weszlo.com, which quoted the interview, Peszko explained that the club ended talks because of a complication with Ndiaye's contract. Peszko said that although one platform showed Ndiaye possesses a European passport, he does not. Peszko stated that they will not decide on the player and have broken off negotiations.

Amath Ndiaye, a Senegalese winger who also holds Spanish citizenship, is nearing the completion of a transfer to Wieczysta Kraków from Real Valladolid. The negotiations are at a highly advanced stage, and Wieczysta Kraków is attempting to secure the deal for a fee of around 200,000 euros. Ndiaye, 30, has a contract valid until the end of June of the following year and is a product of Atlético Madryt's academy. In the last LaLiga2 season, he scored four goals in 19 matches for his club. He also has extensive experience in Spain's top flight, with 134 LaLiga appearances for clubs including Getafe, RCD Mallorca, and Tenerife. Ndiaye joined Real Valladolid in July 2024 and has been capped four times by Senegal. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €600k.
