Amadou Haidara is leaving RB Leipzig to join RC Lens in France. He was recently the subject of interest from several clubs, including Napoli and Aston Villa. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 27-year-old Malian central midfielder has signed a contract with the Ligue 1 club until June 2029. The transfer, which will take place after the AFCON, cost €3 million including bonuses and was aided by Haidara having about six months remaining on his Leipzig contract.
