Amadou Diawara Transfer from Eldense to Leganés

Amadou Diawara, a 28-year-old midfielder from Guinea, has officially joined Leganes following a short period with Eldense, after his contract with Anderlecht was terminated. He has signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year. The transfer is regarded as one of the most notable acquisitions in the summer market for Leganes, making Diawara their tenth addition. Diawara successfully completed his medical examinations earlier today, and the official announcement is anticipated soon. The transfer did not involve a fee since Diawara was a free agent, though it required considerable financial effort regarding salary, as his wage demands had discouraged other Segunda División clubs. Diawara's goal is to regain his form and revitalize his career in preparation for the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations. With 64 international appearances for Guinea, he brings a wealth of experience to Leganes, and the club is hopeful that his ambition for a comeback will aid them in returning to the top division.
