Amadej Maroša Transfer from Mura to Nafta
Amadej Maroša, a 31-year-old Slovenian centre-forward, unilaterally terminated his contract with Mura and transferred to Nafta, citing an agreement that allowed him to move without a fee. According to available information, the agreement was made with NŠ Mura, but not explicitly with the company Nogometni management Mura. Mura contests this, believing they have been wronged and that the contract is still valid. The contract stipulates a compensation fee that is several times higher than the amount the club owes the player. Mura considers the transfer an unjustified breach of contract because Maroša only informed them of the unilateral termination and not the transfer itself. Consequently, they have initiated disciplinary proceedings. The dispute has been submitted to the Football Association of Slovenia for arbitration, and the process is reportedly proceeding slowly. A source has learned that Mura disagrees with the composition of the arbitration committee. It is alleged that Mura has filed an appeal, which could delay a resolution into the next year. Amadej Maroša expects to receive the money he is owed by Mura. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €175k. In 14 Druga Liga appearances for Nafta during the 25/26 season, he has scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists.
