Girona FC submitted an offer of 700,000 euros for Al Ahly's Aliou Dieng. The player was agreeable to this option as he was interested in playing in La Liga and has refused to sign an extension with Al Ahly. Another La Liga club, Valencia CF, is also considering an official bid for the midfielder, who has reportedly declined proposals with better financial terms from Pyramids FC and clubs in the Gulf.
