According to Pete O’Rourke, Birmingham City midfielder Alfie Chang is set to return to Walsall on loan for the remainder of the season. The 23-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Bristol Rovers before being removed by new manager Steve Evans as part of a number of player departures in January. This is a return to Walsall for Chang, who also spent the second half of last season there on loan, making eight appearances. The player's contract at St. Andrew’s ends in the summer, and the move is considered important for his future. He will reunite with Kacper Lopata, who he played alongside at Bristol Rovers.
