FC Augsburg is willing to let Alexis Claude-Maurice leave only for a record fee. According to 'Sport Bild', the French player should bring in at least as much as Ermedin Demirovic did last summer, who transferred to VfB Stuttgart for 21 million Euros. VfB Stuttgart is reportedly interested in adding Claude-Maurice to their list.

Alexis Claude-Maurice has emerged as the leading candidate for VfB Stuttgart as they seek a replacement for Enzo Millot. Currently, he is the top scorer for FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga, having recently achieved a hattrick against Borussia Mönchengladbach. His contract with FC Augsburg is valid until 2027. VfB Stuttgart's interest in him was reported by Sport Bild. Enzo Millot is able to leave VfB Stuttgart this summer due to an exit clause, which is around 20 million euros, leading Stuttgart to look for a successor. Claude-Maurice, who moved to Augsburg on a free transfer from OGC Nice and has netted nine goals this season, could potentially secure Augsburg a significant transfer profit after just one year.
