Alexandru Crețu transferred from Al-Wehda to Universitatea Craiova on a free transfer.

Alexandru Crețu is negotiating a return to Universitatea Craiova after a year in Saudi Arabia with Al-Wehda. He previously played for Universitatea Craiova before being sold to Al-Wehda in August 2024 for 600,000 EUR. Currently, Crețu is in discussions not only with his former team Universitatea Craiova but also with CFR Cluj and Universitatea Cluj, as he seeks to make his comeback in the Romanian Superliga. During his time at Al-Wehda, Crețu played 33 matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
