Palmeiras has advanced negotiations to sign 31-year-old Argentinian-Uruguayan defender Alexander Barboza from Botafogo. The transfer is expected to happen in the middle of the year. Barboza joined Botafogo in January 2024, and his current market value is €5.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
