Fatih Karagümrük has expressed interest in acquiring the Ghanaian international defender Alexander Djiku from Fenerbahçe and has submitted an offer. The club is currently awaiting a response from Fenerbahçe. Salim Manav reported that Karagümrük is not only targeting Alexander Djiku but also Ongjen Mimovic and Cenk Tosun from Fenerbahçe, having placed offers for all three players. The newly promoted Süper Lig club is in a holding pattern, waiting for Fenerbahçe's reply regarding their proposal. The 31-year-old's contract with Fenerbahçe is due to expire in June 2026, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €6.50m. Besides the offer from Karagümrük, other clubs such as Spartak Moskva and Villarreal have also been recently associated with the player.
