Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been training with Arsenal since November and played for the club's Under-21s in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Manchester United last December.

According to The Sun, Mikel Arteta has not ruled out Arsenal signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on a short-term deal. Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently training with Arsenal’s Under-21s after leaving Besiktas in August. When asked about the possibility of signing the player, Arteta said that they explore every option.

The report also states that the midfielder has rejected a number of lucrative offers from abroad because his priority is to find a new club in England. Earlier this year, it was reported that promoted Championship side Birmingham City were interested in signing him. The midfielder has 35 caps and 7 goals for England. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m. Besides Birmingham, other clubs linked with a move for the player include Rangers, Everton and Leeds United.
