According to Tuttomercato, Spezia have entered into negotiations for Sampdoria's Alessandro Pio Riccio, a player born in 2002 who was also of interest to Avellino. The Ligurian club is pursuing Riccio as a replacement for former Brescia player Andrea Cistana, who is expected to depart from Donadoni's squad after receiving limited playing time.
