Juventus is closely following the progress of Alessandro Romano, a 20-year-old defensive midfielder at Cagliari who is an Italian-Swiss national. The club also considers him a valuable profile for Serie A squad list purposes. The interest from Juventus was demonstrated by the presence of a club representative in Bergamo to monitor his performance against Atalanta. Inter and Napoli are also tracking the player, and Inter was the first major club to scout him. Romano's valuation is now more than triple the €5.9 million Cagliari acquired him for. The midfielder joined Cagliari in July 2026 and has one cap for the Switzerland U20 national team.
