According to 'Sport Den za Dnyom', Aleksei Batrakov's agent, Vladimir Kuzmichov, has stated that Batrakov does not currently agree to a transfer to Zenit.

Lokomotiv's sporting director Dmitry Ulyanov has stated that midfielder Alexey Batrakov can only transfer to Zenit if the club pays a minimum of €130 million for the player. When asked if it was impossible to sell Batrakov to a Russian club, Ulyanov affirmed this. In response to a hypothetical offer of €30 million from Zenit, he stated that the fee would need to be €130 million, adding that €30 million is an insufficient amount. Ulyanov confirmed his seriousness on the matter.

Former Lokomotiv forward Dmitry Sychev stated that he does not believe the topic of Aleksey Batrakov's potential transfer to Zenit is serious. According to comments reported by Metaratings, Sychev is confident that Batrakov will remain at Lokomotiv until the summer, suggesting the only possibility for a move would be in the case of a fantastic offer from a top European club. The 20-year-old Russian attacking midfielder has 11 goals and 6 assists in 17 appearances in the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season. Batrakov has 10 caps and 3 goals for Russia. He joined his current club in January 2024 and has a contract until 2029. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €23.00m. Several European clubs, including FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, have been linked with him.
