Spartak Moscow's sporting director, Francis Cagigao, confirmed that the club is negotiating a contract extension with 27-year-old Russian goalkeeper Aleksandr Maksimenko. The club is pleased with his performances and wants him to stay for a long time. His current contract runs until summer 2026. No transfer to another club is discussed. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €4.50m.
