Aleksander Bobek Transfer from ŁKS Łódź to Górnik Zabrze
Górnik Zabrze is seeking a replacement for goalkeeper Marcel Łubik, who is on loan from Augsburg, as the club is reportedly accepting that it is unlikely he will be retained. According to Szymon Janczyk, the club is now strongly interested in 22-year-old Polish goalkeeper Aleksander Bobek from ŁKS Łódź. Bobek's contract is due to expire at the end of June and will not be extended, meaning a transfer would only require Górnik Zabrze to pay a training compensation of approximately 100,000 PLN. Although Bobek has also attracted interest from foreign clubs, including Celtic, the Zabrze-based team is reportedly in the strongest position to sign him. The Poland U21 international has a current Transfermarkt market value of €400k.
