Mikel Arteta has reportedly been very impressed by Villarreal's Spanish winger Alberto Moleiro. According to the Spanish publication Fichajes, the Arsenal manager has identified the 22-year-old as an ideal candidate to strengthen his squad. Moleiro joined Villarreal from Las Palmas for €16m in July, and his Estimated Transfer Value has since increased to over €26m following a strong start that includes six goals and two assists in 14 La Liga games. Arsenal, who are said to be seeking further reinforcements next year, have reportedly added him to their list of transfer targets. Villarreal are understood to be aware of the growing interest in the Spain U21 international, who is under contract until 2030, but would prefer to keep the player until at least next summer before considering a sale.
