Alberto Marí, a 25-year-old Spanish forward and a Valencia youth product, is very close to signing for Kispest-Honvéd after recently becoming a free agent. Hércules, an Alicante-based club where Marí previously played in the academy, attempted to sign him but failed. According to a Tuesday report from Información, the forward would be moving abroad, and Spanyolfoci also suggested Kispest-Honvéd could be his destination. Marí suffered a serious left hamstring injury in March while playing for Mirandés, undergoing surgery on March 20 and consequently missing the rest of the season. He was still recovering from the injury when Valencia terminated his contract in late August. He has a Transfermarkt market value of €600k.
