Globo.com reported that Saldivia is negotiating with a club from abroad and was not included in the delegation.

The 24-year-old Uruguayan centre-back Alan Saldivia received inquiries from Argentine football but rejected them because he wants to improve the situation at his club, Vasco da Gama. He joined the club on January 9, 2026, and his contract is set to expire on December 31, 2028. Saldivia has made 10 appearances in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A this season, and his current market value is estimated at €1.20m by Transfermarkt.
