FC Cincinnati rejected an offer from Hull City for 25-year-old Togolese forward Kévin Denkey. The rejected bid was reportedly worth approximately $15 million, with an additional $5 million in add-ons. Denkey is under contract until the end of 2028 and has scored 11 goals in 17 Major League Soccer appearances this season. The forward has also been linked with Real Betis and Borussia Dortmund. A reported offer of €20 million was made by the latter in July 2026, and FC Cincinnati's asking price was reported to be €15 million plus bonuses in June 2026.
