Afonso Sousa is expected to depart from Lech Poznań following their victory in the Polish championship. His significant contributions, amounting to 13 goals and six assists, were pivotal in the club securing its ninth title. Sousa is currently in high demand, with various offers from Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece, Turkey, and Portugal. Among the interested clubs is Samsunspor from Turkey, according to Sebastian Staszewski. Although his contract is valid until June 30, 2026, Lech has proposed an extension. Nonetheless, it appears likely that he will pursue a new challenge in more prestigious competitions this summer. Lech's sports director, Tomasz Rząsa, indicated that they would finalize the deal for six million euros, although offers of five million euros might also be considered.
