Górnik Zabrze's sporting director, Łukasz Milik, confirmed at the end of May that the club had made an offer for Afimico Pululu, a 27-year-old centre-forward with dual DR Congo and French nationality. Milik explained that after contacting a German agency and checking information, they created an offer he described as very good for the club. Milik added that he felt the transfer was an unrealistic possibility due to the competition for the player, but they would continue trying to convince him as long as they had a chance. Pululu's future remains uncertain, even though he had medical tests planned with Al-Hazem in Saudi Arabia over a week ago, and there have been no further updates on this move. More recently, a photo shared on Pululu's social media showed him training in a Górnik Zabrze shirt. The forward is currently a free agent. According to Transfermarkt, he has a market value of €4.00m. He has also been linked with other Polish clubs, including Wieczysta Kraków, Jagiellonia Białystok, and Widzew Lodz.
