Italian club Frosinone was also competing to sign Adrian Șut, but the 27-year-old Romanian international defensive midfielder is set to join Levadiakos on loan from Al Ain. Șut has 8 caps for Romania and wanted to leave the UAE-based club just months after arriving in January 2026 due to a falling out. He made 11 appearances and scored one goal in the UAE Pro League. The loan agreement will reportedly involve Levadiakos covering a significant portion of the player's high salary and could include an option to buy. His former club FCSB was also linked with a move for the player, whose Transfermarkt market value is €3.50m.
