Gigi Becali has announced that Adrian Șut is a player he could transfer to FCSB in the summer as part of a larger plan to bring in at least six new players. According to statements made by Becali, the midfielder could return to the Romanian Superliga in the next transfer window because he has not adapted in the United Arab Emirates. Șut is a 26-year-old Romanian international who was sold to Al-Ain for 1.4 million euros in the winter. He has earned 8 caps for Romania and his contract with the UAE club runs until June 2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €3.80m.
