With the potential departure of Gaetan Poussin, Zaragoza is actively seeking a more experienced goalkeeper to take on the starting role. Despite not having played during the pre-season and facing competition at Alavés from Sivera and new arrival Raúl Fernández, Rodríguez is optimistic that his stint at Zaragoza will aid in his development. The 24-year-old, who has played for Argentina at youth levels and is 1.95 meters tall, may make his debut in the Segunda division this Sunday against Real Sociedad B, depending on any further signings by Zaragoza.
