Atlético de Madrid holds a buy-back option for 22-year-old Spanish forward Adrián Niño, who joined Málaga last summer from Atlético's reserve team for a €400,000 fee. The clause allows Atlético to re-sign the forward at the end of each season, with the current buy-back amount set at €1.2 million. This would permit the club to either reintegrate him into their squad or include him in another transaction. Niño is reportedly very happy at Málaga, especially as he is set to play in the top division of Spanish football next season. According to Málaga's sporting director, Lorenzo Juarros 'Loren', there has been no contact from anyone regarding the player as of now, and he believes it will not be easy for another club to sign him. In the 2025/2026 LaLiga2 season, Niño made 30 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing 2 assists. He has been capped 3 times for the Spain U21 team, scoring 2 goals. His contract with Málaga runs until 2029, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.00m.
