Journalist Alan Nixon claims that Blackburn Rovers are currently in the leading position for Adama Sidibeh and that they hope to agree a deal with Stockport for a fee of £1.5m in the coming weeks.

Rangers are monitoring Stockport's 28-year-old Gambian international attacker Adama Sidibeh. Interest has also been noted from English Championship sides Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough, and Bristol City. It is understood that Blackburn are considering a £1.5 million move for the forward but would need to raise funds before proceeding. Sidibeh has 9 caps and scored 5 goals for his country.
