English centre-back Aaron Hayden, 29, has signed for Hednesford Town following his release from Wrexham at the end of the season. Hayden, who joined Wrexham from Carlisle United in the summer of 2021, experienced two consecutive promotions during his time with the club. Over three seasons, he made 94 appearances in all competitions, scoring 20 goals, though his final two seasons were impacted by injuries. His new club, Hednesford, achieved promotion to the National League North last season.
