Tottenham Hotspur is one of several clubs interested in Honest Ahanor, a 17-year-old Nigerian defender at Atalanta. Scouts from Tottenham, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United have traveled to observe the player. In Spain, Atlético Madrid is also monitoring him. Within Italy, Naples coach Antonio Conte considers Ahanor a priority target, and AC Milan remains interested after unsuccessfully attempting to sign him in July.
The centre-back is under contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2028 and earns an annual salary of 930,000 euros. Transfermarkt values him at 25 million euros. Ahanor joined Atalanta in July 2025 and has made 15 appearances in the 2025/2026 Serie A season.
