VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund are competing to sign Fenerbahçe's 23-year-old Malian winger Nene Dorgeles ahead of the next summer transfer window. It is reported that Stuttgart has made a concrete offer estimated at 22 million euros, with the aim of strengthening its attack for European competitions. Borussia Dortmund has made a first proposal of around 18 million euros and has placed Dorgeles as a priority on its shortlist.
Fenerbahçe controls the negotiations and has set a minimum price of 25 million euros for the player. The Turkish club will not sell for less than their asking price. Dorgeles arrived from RB Salzburg in 2025 for 18 million euros and is under contract until 2030. At this stage, Stuttgart is considered to have a financial advantage. Dorgeles has 32 caps and 9 goals for Mali, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €18.00m.
