Georges Mikautadze of Villarreal is on Barcelona's shortlist, with his price listed at 30 million euros.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Georges Mikautadze is being considered by FC Barcelona and is on a list at the club as a candidate to succeed Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski. Villarreal is aware of the interest from Barcelona and is awaiting a final decision. Mikautadze reportedly has a release clause of 78 million euros in his contract.

According to journalist Marcos Benito from El Chiringuito, FC Barcelona attempted to recruit former Lyon player Georges Mikautadze, and Villarreal demanded 70 million euros. Villarreal, who were aware of FC Barcelona's interest, recently increased the release clause for Mikautadze for the end of the transfer window. FC Barcelona decided not to proceed because of the price.

According to Marca, the amount required to release Georges Mikautadze has increased from 60 million euros to 75 million euros in the last ten days of the transfer window. FC Barcelone is seeking a new striker to prepare for the succession of Robert Lewandowski and Mikautadze is one of the options being considered. Villarreal has not received any offer at this stage.
