Rangers have opened talks with Wolfsburg to sign Andreas Skov Olsen. The 26-year-old Denmark international has 40 caps and 8 goals for his country. He was left out of the Wolfsburg squad for their match against Bayern Munich on Sunday, an absence which Plettenberg stated was not injury-related. The reporter added that the winger is prepared for a new stage in his career.
Skov Olsen, who has made eight Bundesliga appearances this season, is under contract with the German club until 2029. He joined Wolfsburg a year ago for a reported £12 million and the signing is not expected to be inexpensive. His current Transfermarkt market value is €10.00m. The player has also been linked with Göztepe and Samsunspor. When he moved to Wolfsburg, Club Brugge's asking price was reportedly between €15 million and €20 million.
