Borussia Dortmund's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, has publicly stated on multiple occasions that the club does not plan to let Portuguese centre-forward Fábio Silva, 23, leave in the winter, yet the player remains on the wish list of FC Porto. The Portuguese club is reportedly considering a loan deal until the end of the season to compensate for the injured Luuk de Jong and also has Terem Moffi from OGC Nizza as an alternative.
Silva, who previously played for the 30-time champions from 2015 to 2020, had also been the subject of concrete interest in a loan from Betis Sevilla. The forward joined Dortmund in August 2025 and is under contract until June 2030. He has scored 15 goals in 28 appearances for Portugal's U21 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €28.00m.
