Napoli is considering a potential swap deal with Al-Hilal involving Lorenzo Lucca and Marcos Leonardo, a 22-year-old Brazilian striker. The Saudi club, managed by Simone Inzaghi, is reportedly interested in Lucca, and in exchange, the Brazilian striker Marcos Leonardo could move to Italy. Leonardo, who was previously close to joining Roma, is regarded as the next player likely to depart from Riyadh after Cancelo. The negotiations are technically complex, and for the deal to proceed, it would need to be economically balanced or financially favorable for Napoli, as the club must adhere to a zero net spend policy for new signings.
The centre-forward joined Al-Hilal in September 2024 and has scored 7 goals in 11 league appearances this season. His current contract expires in June 2029 and his market value is €20.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Flamengo, CSKA Moscow, and West Ham United have also been linked with the player. In late 2025, Al Hilal reportedly rejected a €25 million bid from CSKA Moscow and a separate £20 million offer from West Ham. The Saudi club signed him for a reported €40 million in September 2024.
