Manchester City is monitoring Benfica's 23-year-old right-back and Bosnia and Herzegovina international, Amar Dedić. It is reported that a move to the Etihad could happen as early as January. Dedić is seen as a natural option for the right-back position, a role which midfielder Matheus Nunes has been occupying this season.
Dedić joined Benfica in July 2025 and has a contract until 2030. He has earned 24 caps and scored 1 goal for Bosnia-Herzegovina. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has 1 goal and 3 assists in 14 Liga Portugal appearances. His current Transfermarkt market value is €15.00m.
