Liverpool, the reigning English champion, is considering Borussia Dortmund's Norwegian-American Right-Back, Julian Ryerson. The club is seeking a replacement for Conor Bradley following a serious injury, and apparently believes the 28-year-old can be a suitable replacement. It was previously reported that FC Barcelona was also interested in the Norwegian player, and it was said that initial talks had occurred, though that interest has since lessened. It was reported that Borussia Dortmund was not opposed to a suitable offer for the player.
Ryerson joined Dortmund from Union Berlin in January 2023 for a fee reported as €5 million. He has a contract until June 2028, and Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €20 million. He has 39 caps and one goal for Norway, and has contributed four assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season.
