Wolfsberger AC is reportedly interested in a future deal with FC Blau-Weiß Linz's Austrian striker, Romeo Vučić. According to the 'Ostsee-Zeitung', which cited the online portal 'fussballeuropa.com', at least three clubs are looking at the player. The report also identified German club Hansa Rostock and Serbian side FK Cukaricki as interested parties. A connection to Wolfsberger exists through their new head coach, Manfred Schmid, who is an old acquaintance of Vučić. The 23-year-old striker is under contract in Linz until the summer of 2028, with an option for an additional year. Vučić joined his current club in July 2026 and has been capped five times by the Austria U21 national team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €300K.
