Juventus targets Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar

The Serbian goalkeeper is the subject of a potential transfer to Turin.

Juventus is very interested in AS Roma's 26-year-old Serbian and Belgian goalkeeper Mile Svilar and is hopeful of bringing him to Turin, as the club has been seeking a top goalkeeper for years. It is reported that AS Roma would want a minimum of 45 million euros for Svilar. The transfer is considered difficult due to the rivalry between the clubs and Juventus's need to manage its finances carefully.

To potentially reduce the transfer fee, Juventus has a plan to include midfielder Teun Koopmeiners in the deal, who previously had a good working relationship with the current AS Roma coach, Gian Piero Gasperini. Svilar joined Roma in July 2022, has a contract until 2030, and has made 26 appearances in Serie A this season. The Serbian international, who has one cap for his country, has a current market value of €35.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Several other clubs have also been linked with him, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Bayern Munich.
