It is reported that Cláudio Braga is getting closer to a departure from Hearts, as Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town have joined the pursuit of the player. It is also said that Turkish club Trabzonspor are interested in the playmaker. French club Lyon has also been previously linked with the 26-year-old, who was the Scottish Premiership Player of the Year. Jamestown Analytics values Braga between £8 million and £10 million, which is a price point at which Hearts will consider a sale.
Despite the player having two years left on his contract, Portuguese outlet Record reports that an agreement could be reached in the near future. Hearts manager Wouter Vrancken has acknowledged that the club must be prepared to replace Braga, noting that their model includes developing players and selling them to larger teams.
