Inter are monitoring 21-year-old Belgian midfielder Arthur Vermeeren, who is under contract with RB Leipzig until 2029 but appears to have no future with the club. It is understood that Leipzig will ask for a transfer fee between €30 million and €35 million for the midfielder. Lazio are also monitoring the player, while Tottenham Hotspur consider Vermeeren a priority target.
Vermeeren is currently on loan at Olympique Marseille, where he has made 15 appearances and provided 1 assist in Ligue 1 this season. He has 11 caps and 1 goal for the Belgium U21 team. In early 2026, it was reported that Olympique Marseille would not activate their €20 million purchase option for the player. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €22 million. Previously, Atlético Madrid had signed him from Royal Antwerp for a reported €18 million in January 2024, before his move to RB Leipzig became permanent in January 2025 for a fee reported to be €20 million plus a loan fee.
