Inter in advanced negotiations for Vasilije Kostov

The club from Milan is reportedly leading the effort for the young Serbian footballer's transfer.

Inter from Milan is working to sign the 17-year-old Serbian footballer Vasilije Kostov, who was born in 2008. The club from the 'Giuseppe Meazza' stadium is reportedly leading the effort to sign the player, while Arsenal and Bayern Munich have also shown interest. Negotiations are at an advanced stage, and according to people close to the talks, there is a 'gentleman's agreement' for Kostov to continue his career in the black and blue jersey. His agent, Nikola Kolarov, has permitted Inter to proceed with the final effort to sign the young Serbian international.

To complete the transfer, Inter must provide a significant sum of money. Zvezdan Terzić, the general director of Crvena zvezda, has confirmed that the club has received offers from Europe exceeding 20 million euros. Aleksandar Kolarov, an assistant coach at Inter, also supports the deal and is advocating for the club to complete the transfer as soon as possible. In the 2025/2026 season in the Super liga Srbije, Kostov has made 24 appearances, scored 10 goals, and provided 6 assists. He has 9 caps and 1 goal for the Serbia U19 team. His contract with Red Star Belgrade is set to expire on June 30, 2028, and he has a current Transfermarkt market value of €10.00m.
