AEK intends to keep Luka Jović and will start negotiations to extend his contract. However, if an agreement is not reached, it is possible he could return to his homeland to play for Crvena Zvezda. The Serbian champions are monitoring the situation, as they would like Jović to play for them in the Champions League qualifiers.
The 29-year-old Serbian striker's performance, having scored 20 goals in 38 matches, has also attracted the interest of many other European clubs. Jović, who joined AEK in August 2025, has a contract that runs until June 30, 2027, and has 52 caps and 11 goals for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €7.00m.
