Following their recent acquisition of Harry Winks from Leicester City, Cagliari may be looking to sign another player from the club. The Italian side is targeting central defender Harry Souttar. The 27-year-old, who holds a British passport, is the captain of the Australian national team. He has 42 caps and 11 goals for the team, and played every minute for them at the last World Cup.
Souttar, who joined Leicester in January 2023, is contracted to the club until 2028; following their relegation to League One, England's third division, their top players are seeking opportunities at other clubs. Several British clubs, including West Ham United, Sheffield United, and Stoke City, have also been linked with the defender. According to recent reports from July 2026, Leicester City has set a £10 million asking price for Souttar. The club signed him for a reported €17.0 million. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €3.50m.
