With the transfer deadline fast approaching, Burnley are at the centre of several developing stories. Analysis of the past seven days shows the club has been linked with 12 possible arrivals and four potential exits. The hottest storyline right now concerns Ryan Giles, but below are the latest updates on the most important transfer rumours surrounding the club.
Djiamgone Jocelin Ta Bi
On Monday, it was reported that Burnley are signing Sunderland’s Djiamgone Jocelin Ta Bi. It is believed to be a loan deal, but there is also talk of it being a permanent transfer. Several teams, including West Ham, had been interested in a loan for the Ivorian, while Watford had considered a loan but believe another Championship club is preparing a permanent move. Last week, Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris said a departure was still possible before Tuesday's deadline, stating that while they like Ta Bi's profile and potential, a loan is possible as game time is crucial for his development.
Largie Ramazani
Leeds United are expected to sell winger Largie Ramazani to Burnley this week. According to The Athletic’s Beren Cross on Monday, Leeds and the Clarets are finalising a permanent transfer for the 25-year-old. The report does not provide information on the fee. Ramazani was signed from Almeria for a reported £10million fee in the summer of 2024. Previously, on Thursday, manager Daniel Farke had confirmed that the winger was not part of his plans and had permission to leave.
Harry Amass
According to Sky Sports on Monday, several EFL clubs, including West Ham, Norwich City, Birmingham City, and Burnley, are interested in Manchester United defender Harry Amass. The report states that Burnley have held initial talks with the Red Devils regarding a permanent move, but a loan has not been ruled out. Also on Monday, Pete O’Rourke reported that Wolves have joined Burnley in pursuing Amass, with any move expected to be a loan.
Ryan Giles
On Sunday, @alex_crook reported that Ryan Giles is now expected to stay at Hull City despite Burnley being in advanced talks. This followed a day of conflicting reports on Saturday. Burnley made an offer for the player, but Hull manager Sergej Jakirovic stated that Giles does not want to leave and should only be allowed to depart for an exceptionally high financial offer of £20m. In contrast, TalkSPORT reported on Saturday that Hull had agreed to loan Giles to Burnley and the deal was expected to be concluded very soon.
Amario Cozier-Duberry
Burnley are reportedly interested in signing Amario Cozier-Duberry, a 21-year-old English winger from Brighton, according to reports from Wednesday. The Clarets are said to be one of seven interested Championship clubs. According to ex-Mirror journalist Darren Witcoop on X, West Ham, Middlesbrough, and Wolves also have a concrete interest. It is also claimed that Brighton has offered Cozier-Duberry a new contract and intends to loan him out for the 2026-27 season.
Bahereba Guirassy
On Wednesday, it was reported that Championship club Burnley is monitoring French-Guinean winger Herba Guirassy from Nantes. The English team is reportedly considering a first offer for the 19-year-old, who is said to be open to the idea of moving to England. Several other clubs, including Young Boys, Lecce, and Club Brugge, have also been linked with the player.
Yassin Belkhdim
Angers midfielder Yassin Belkhdim has attracted interest from Burnley, as reported on Wednesday. The Championship club faces competition from Rayo Vallecano and Anderlecht, while Werder Bremen are also considering an offer for the 24-year-old. Angers is seeking €5 million for the transfer.
