Borussia Dortmund has recently inquired about Guéla Doué, a 23-year-old Ivorian international right-back at RC Strasbourg. The German club, known for targeting young talents, is monitoring the player's development. Paris Saint-Germain is also reportedly monitoring the situation, with their interest partly driven by the possibility of uniting Doué with his brother, Désiré, who is a player at the Parisian club.
Strasbourg is not seeking an immediate sale of the player, who is under contract until 2029. His market value is estimated at €20 million, but the club anticipates that competition from multiple clubs to sign him could significantly increase the final transfer fee. Doué, who has 22 caps and 3 goals for Ivory Coast, made 24 appearances in the 2025/2026 Ligue 1 season, scoring 2 goals and providing 6 assists. He joined Strasbourg from Rennes in July 2024 for a fee of €6 million, and reports in May 2026 suggested an offer of approximately €30 million could be sufficient for the club to agree to a sale.
