Both AC Monza and Parma Calcio have made bids for Rangers' 22-year-old winger Djeidi Gassama, a Mauritanian international with three caps for his country. The Scottish club's board has deemed offers of €7m to be insufficient and expects a higher amount before allowing the player, who is under contract until 2029, to leave. Gassama was signed by Rangers from Sheffield Wednesday last summer for €2.4m and was the subject of a rejected loan offer from AS Monaco in January. The player has also been linked with Club Brugge, with reports in July 2026 suggesting the Belgian club was willing to pay around €8 million. Transfermarkt estimates Gassama's current market value to be €6.00m.
